Organizational change readiness and employee performance in the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care
Abstract
The main goal of this study was to determine which domain of organizational change readiness best influences the employee performance of Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC). This study was a non-experimental quantitative research which used universal sampling technique covering 100 PITAHC employees as respondents. Mean Pearson r and regression analysis were the statistical tools used in analyzing the data. Data were gathered with the use of adapted survey questionnaires and descriptive statistics was applied to evaluate results. Findings of the study showed that change of self-efficacy was the best influencer for employees' performance. This showed that organizational change readiness may be achieved when management considers and addresses the employees' attitudes and behaviors (self-efficacy). Thus, self-efficacy is important to achieve the objectives for the proposed organizational change.
