Grammar is the basic foundation of our ability to communicate. The more we know about how it functions, the more we can monitor the significance and effectiveness of the manner we and others use the language. It can help cultivate accuracy, detect ambiguity, and exploit the richness of expression accessible in English. Correct grammar is your vital aspect for communicating in English fluently and confidently. This study is qualitative, employing the phenomenology approach, which aims to know the challenges and insights of the non-teaching professionals on selected schools in Tagum in terms of grammar. Based on the study results gathered from the responses of both in- depth interviews and focused group discussion participants, significant themes emerged. The challenges identified are; difficulties in expressing thoughts and ideas, difficulties in communicating with different clients, and confusion in sentence constructions. With the challenges faced by the non- teaching professional, the corresponding is their insights in the importance of grammar; correct grammar leads to better communication, correct grammar ensures credibility and reputations, correct grammar boosts confidence, and correct grammar achieves/realizes organizational goals. Therefore, there may be a lot of challenges and difficulties they face in using grammar at work, but since they are passionate to be able to communicate effectively to their clients, colleagues, and other people, they do something about it and learn to find a solution when a problem arises.
