dc.description.abstractThe main thrust of this study was to determine the significant relationship between the work motivation and team effectiveness of community policemen in MABAMA, Davao del Sur. Moreover, it sought to determine the level of work motivation of community policeman in terms of extrinsic regulation, introjected regulation, identified regulation, and intrinsic motivation and the level of team effectiveness of community policeman in terms of team mission, goal achievement, empowerment, open and honest communication, and positive roles and norms. This study used correlational research design whose respondents are the 105 community policemen in MABAMA area. Adapted survey questionnaires were used as research instruments for gathering data. Mean and Pearson r was used as statistical tools. Data revealed that the level of work motivation of community policemen in MABAMA was very high, and the level of team effectiveness of community policemen was also very high. Also, results showed that there is a significant relationship between work motivation and team effectiveness of community policemen in MABAMA.en_US
