dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Classroom Management and Student Academic Performance among first year BSED- English students of UMPC. The researcher employed descriptive survey research design to generate data. The researchers utilized and adopt the research questionnaire from Wang (2009) and Baker (2000) to allow the collection of reliable and desired information. It can be reflected as the result of the study on Classroom Management got the mean of 3.89 which is high and the Student Academic Performance got the mean of 86.40. The R-value is -0.041 and the P- value is 0.828 significant relationship between Classroom Management and Student Academic Performance. It was observed that there are a lot of factors affecting students’ academic performance not just the classroom management but the proper guidance to help the students with problems like lack of correlation between talent and achievement, faulty study practice, imperfect methods of learning. We have also observed that the performance of the students depended upon several factors like, learning facilities, age and gender differences. The most significant factor with the positive outcome on the performance of the students is competence of students in English Students having good communication skills it expands the students’ performance.
