The level of awareness on computerized accounting system in the selected establishment in Bansalan

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the level of awareness of computerized accounting systems in different business institutions here in Bansalan. The Descriptive Method was used by collecting through validated survey questionnaires which were distributed to 40 respondents. The results on the profile of the respondents in Bansalan in terms of small and medium enterprises revealed that there were more small enterprises than medium enterprises in the entire Bansalan area. The level of awareness of computerized accounting systems in different business establishments in Bansalan in terms of Accounts Receivable System, Accounts Payable System, Cash Management System, Purchase Order System, PayRoll System, and General Ledger System is moderate. There is no significant difference between the level of awareness of the Computerized Accounting System and the type of business establishment in a selected establishment in Bansalan.
