ACADEMIC FREEZE: THE PERCEPTION OF PARENTS, STUDENTS, TEACHERS ON ITS POSSIBLE IMPLICATION

This study entitled “ACADEMIC FREEZE: THE PERCEPTION OF PARENTS,
STUDENTS, TEACHERS ON ITS POSSIBLE IMPLICATION”, used explanatory
research design which aimed to determine the perceptions of parents, students, and
teachers to the possible implication of academic freeze by using a researcher-made
interview guide questionnaire. The data from the nine participants were thematically
analyzed. Thematic analysis will use in revealing the different perceptions of the
participants, some participants may agree to academic freeze, and some may not.
Academic freeze has a higher percentage of certainty for safety, but it will not
outweigh the damage to the economic and inconvenience to the people. With these,
the perception of the participants in implementing academic freeze may produce a
difficult time to everyone.
