The study was conducted to determine the factors affecting the implementation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) in Poblacion Uno, Poblacion Dos, Bansalan Davao del Sur (2009-2013). It aims to determine the factors that affect the implementation of the law, and what is the main factor that affects the implementation of the said law. Data were gathered using the survey questionnaire consisting of (10) possible factors that may affect the implementation of the law. The questionnaires were given to 290 ordinary citizens of Poblacion Uno, Poblacion Dos and ten (10) randomly selected police personnel from the investigation Division in Bansalan, Davao del Sur. Based on the data gathered, it was found out that the factors that affects the implementation of R.A 9165 are lack of monetary fund from the government, lack of equipments and supplies for the implementation of the law, no cooperation from the citizens, no support from the government agencies and no support from the organizations. Based on the findings and conclusions the researchers recommend that the government should make an effort to allot enough funds for the implementation of the Drug Law so as to have a good outcome and eradicate or control the crimes involving dangerous drugs. To the school administrators and all private institutions, they should make an effort to help in the implementation of the drugs law and to the future researchers; they should gather more data and information in relation to topic so as to have better data to support their findings.
