dc.description.abstract | Alcoholism of many people is very widespread and its prevalence is the leading reason for the creation of risks and the emergence of many types of violence. The fact that people have varying resistance and tolerance levels, it remains a question whether the phenomenon is applicable to every alcohol consumer. Thus, this study was explored to examine further the existence of correlation. Between alcoholism and aggression particularly the criminology students. More so, this paper sought to answer the alcoholism level of every criminology students in terms of period of heavy drinking and how this level affects their aggression level. With the utilization of descriptive-correlation research design, 238 criminology students from UM Digos College were randomly selected to become the participants of this study. Results revealed that the level of alcoholism among criminology students in terms of period of heavy drinking is high and their aggression level in terms of verbal aggression, physical aggression, anger, and hostility is also high. Proven with these findings, the study has elucidate that there is a significant relationship between alcoholism and aggression among criminology student. | en_US |
