dc.description.abstractCompares the instructional skills of criminology professors from 4 higher educational institutions in Davao City. Employs a descriptive method and administers a researcher-constructed questionnaire to 275 purposive sample criminology students. Mean scores show that the professors have high instructional skills in terms of demonstrating preparation, making presentation, leading discussion, question/answer sessions and conducting learning exercises as rated by their students. T-test and ANOVA reveal that the teaching status (full-time or part-time) and schools are not factors of difference in the instructional skills of criminology professors. Presents an intervention scheme which aims to enhance the instructional skills of criminology professors.en_US
