This study was conducted to determine the level of performance of the barangay officials and the satisfaction of the residents of Barangay Rizal, Bansalan, Davao del Sur. The study was conducted using the descriptive-correlation method of research by which the researchers personally administered the questionnaire to the selected residents of Barangay Rizal, Bansalan, Davao del Sur with the sample size of 293 participants. It resulted from data gathered and the findings determined that the level of performance of the barangay officials obtained the overall mean of 3.60 described as high and the level of satisfaction of selected residents obtained the overall mean of 3.05 described as moderate. The overall p-value is 0.000 which is lesser than the alpha = 0.05. Such result that there is a significant relationship between the performance of the barangay officials and satisfaction of selected residents. Based on the findings and conclusions, the researchers would recommend that the barangay officials must perform their duties and functions without prejudice and bias. In general, but with great emphasis on environmental management and governance, making sure that they are always available and ready to render service to their constituents.
